Getting to Know You

You’ve learned a lot about me over the past several months. You know that I’m a writer, a mom and a wife, that I sing with the worship team at church, love to read, and I can’t seem to watch a movie without finding some kind of spiritual application. You’ve read about my past and current struggles and the incredible ways that God has worked through them. I’m sure you’ve heard the rumor that I don’t see well and that it doesn’t hold me back much. You’ve been subjected to the inner workings of my overly active mind and my often warped sense of humor. You even met my dad, via a snapshot from Jerusalem. Well, enough about me. Now it’s time to get to know you a little.

Grab this chance to be heard and tell me the follow things about yourself.

1) What do you like to do for fun?

2) If you could do anything with your life, what would it be? Who cares if it’s a long shot, your friends make fun of it, or Grandma warns, “If you do that you won’t get married and have children until you’re at least forty. You’ll regret it. Be practical, Honey.” What do YOU want?

3) What do you love most about God?

I can’t wait to hear your answers!

Enjoy your day!
Jeanette

My Nickname (Pippi) is an old Camp name, aquired from wearing a pair of foot-long braids every time I go to camp. I have a group of friends (who are more like sisters,) I go biking with every year. Over two summers, we biked the Lake Superior Circle Tour, resulting in many stories and inside jokes.
I am planning on majoring in Anthropology next year, and I want to be an archaeological and liguistic anthropologist. I LOVE history. What do I love most about God? That's a bit harder...I love the feeling I get at concerts, in the middle of a packed stadium, that somehow, He cares for me, as a person, and that I'm not just one more face in the crowd to Him.

Doing stuff out of the ordinary is always fun. Binoculars, rooftops, rainboots, and headlights are some of my favorite things.
If I could do anything in the world...I would learn every language so that when I travel the world, I can listen to every story someone has to tell.
I love so much that God knows me, enormously and minutely, and knows all the truth in the world and still Loves so deeply! Truth and love.

I love to read for fun. I always have. I sometimes find myself reading for hours if it's a really good book. (I love Agatha Christie!)

I would love to travel the world. I would love to meet new people and see new things. I think there are a lot of interresting things out there that I would love to see and experience.

What I love most about God is that He is always willing to forgive and take me back when I get off the path I should be on.
