quotes

I'm a fan of quotes. What about you? I think there are bits of wisdom floating around that have the ability to make me think, maybe even change the way I see something. This is my quote for today:

When wealth is lost, nothing is lost; when health is lost, something is lost; when character is lost, all is lost. Billy Graham, preacher, evangelist, a man in the public eye who has won many to Christ, and whose character has never been questioned.

What is your favorite quote?

LOVE quotes, I have journals filled with quotes! I just LOVE quotes...

This is ONE of my MANY, MANY favorites:

There come times when I have nothing more to tell God. If I were to continue to pray in words, I would have to repeat what I have already said. At such times it is wonderful to say to God, "May I be in Thy presence, Lord? I have nothing more to say to Thee, but I do love to be in Thy presence." ~O. Hallesby

Hey Debbie. I love the fact that you love such an old quote, because there is a lot of wisdom in quotes from great teachers like Spurgeon and others. When I look at your quote that you shared, I see such a simple message, but a message that I have in my heart -- to know God, to be in his presence. To know that he knows what I need before I even ask.

Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, I couldn't agree more with you. :-) And wisdom is something I DEFINITELY want.

I want wisdom, integrity, and purity to be keywords in my life, you know?

"It is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."
